Sharon Olson was recently featured on the podcast, Poised for Exit, hosted by Julie Keyes. The podcast features business owners and professionals who discuss topics, experiences, and lessons relevant to small businesses with actional steps.

During her episode, Sharon talks about how she got her start as an entrepreneur at the ripe old age of 9 years old, when she started a paper route. As a child on a farm in a small town, her opportunities growing up were few, so she ran her paper route all through college. As she says “I never wanted to be poor again, so I worked hard, saved money and dreamed big dreams”. In college she heard about financial planning as a profession and it interested her so much that she moved herself into the profession. Sharon shared some very interesting stories about a few of her clients and their family business transitions.
